Time To Meet. It's Film O'Clock!

Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Egypt, South Africa

One Festival - Twelve Countries

From the Baltic States to the southernmost tip of Africa, the Film O'Clock International Festival uses time zones to connect audiences across cities, countries, and continents. Through simultaneous screenings and live Q&A sessions, audiences have the opportunity to experience a film festival taking place thousands of kilometers away. Film O'Clock International Festival brings together the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, proving that a shared love of cinema transcends borders.

Curated by a programming committee representing each participating country, the festival's selection focuses on discovering emerging voices while showcasing the unique storytelling traditions and cinematic trends of each culture.

Film O'Clock International Festival aims to make the film festival experience more accessible by removing the high costs of travel and the exclusivity often associated with invitation-only events. Films have the power to communicate emotions and ideas, deepening our understanding of both ourselves and others. By connecting audiences living within the same time zone, the exchange of films and conversations fosters empathy and encourages greater awareness between countries. In doing so, the festival cultivates not only a love for cinema, but also a deeper appreciation for our neighbours across shared meridians.

Enjoy your time. It's Film O'Clock.
