Creatrix Fama is a cultural and production company based in Bucharest, founded in April 2012 by filmmaker and researcher Mirona Radu, dedicated to promoting arts and culture through film projects, educational programs, and interdisciplinary initiatives. The organization supports the professional development of creators, artistic research, and intercultural dialogue, contributing to the creation of a sustainable cultural ecosystem and to increasing public access to meaningful cultural experiences.
Throughout its activity, Creatrix Fama coordinated, between 2019 and 2023, the program of Cinema Muzeul Țăranului in Bucharest, hosting events such as Arthouse Cinema Day and European Cinema Night. The organization has also produced international festivals, including Film O’Clock International Festival (6 editions, 3 of which were funded by AFCN), the Palestinian Film Festival, the Polish Film Festival, as well as interdisciplinary projects such as Mindful Photography and Cinema (funded by AFCN in 2024).
Currently, the organization implements programs such as Her Story, Her Future, an international mentorship program dedicated to the professional development of women filmmakers; Mindful Photography & Cinema, an interdisciplinary project that uses art as a tool for exploration and connection; and Sâmbăta la Cinema (Saturday at the Cinema), a program aimed at revitalizing access to cinema in communities with limited cultural infrastructure.
Through its projects, Creatrix Fama creates spaces for dialogue between artists, industry professionals, and audiences, supports international collaborations, and contributes to the development of active creative communities around cinema and contemporary arts.
